• Permanent pool fencing and gates
• Landscaping and garden works
• Water features or external plumbing not directly related to pool operation
These can be arranged independently or added as optional inclusions.
Where do you supply and install pools?
We offer full installation services in:
• Newcastle
• Lake Macquarie
• Maitland
• Cessnock
• Upper Central Coast
• Lower Hunter Valley
Do you help with choosing the right pool for my yard?
Yes. We review your layout, access, sunlight, slope, available space, and lifestyle needs to recommend the best pool shape and size.
Can I request a fixed-price quote?
Yes. We can provide a fixed-price proposal for items within the agreed scope. Items affected by unknown ground conditions (rock, groundwater, services, etc.) cannot be fully fixed in advance.
Do you provide insurance?
Yes. Home Warranty Insurance (where applicable) and other mandatory insurances are included in fully installed packages.
What happens if material or equipment prices change before installation?
Once your proposal is accepted, your major inclusions are locked in. Only customer-driven changes or significant supply chain issues would affect pricing.
Do you provide site inspections?
Yes. After collecting your details, we complete a desktop assessment. If suitable, we then arrange an on-site inspection to confirm access, layout, and installation requirements.
What happens to my existing concrete, decking, or landscaping?
Any structures or surfaces within the construction area that obstruct works may need to be removed, altered or protected. We identify these during your site assessment and discuss the options with you.
How do payments work for fully installed pools?
Progress payments are typically structured around major stages, for example:
• Preliminary works (site plans, approvals, VENM assessment, Home Warranty Insurance setup)
• Contract deposit (10% once building approvals are finalised)
• Supply of pool shell (progress payment, e.g. 40%)
• Installation of pool shell (progress payment, e.g. 40%)
• Completion / handover (balance, e.g. 10%)
Your proposal clearly outlines the exact payment schedule.
Do you manage council approvals?
Yes. We assist with approvals by supplying required documentation and coordinating with certifiers. Approvals may involve a CDC or DA, depending on your property conditions.
Do I need boundary setbacks for my pool?
Yes. Setback requirements vary by council and zoning. Your certifier will confirm compliant distances as part of the approval process.
Can my pool be built near or over a sewer or stormwater line?
Possibly. It depends on the depth, location and condition of the asset. Pools over or very close to sewer mains may require:
• Engineering
• Encroachment approval
• A relaxation or build-over application
We can guide you through these requirements.
Can my pool be installed on a sloping block?
Yes. Sloping blocks often require additional planning, retaining, or engineering. We assess your site and recommend the best approach.
Do I need engineering for my installation?
Typically not, for standard, straightforward sites. Some installations, however, do require structural or geotechnical engineering — especially where there are slopes, retaining walls, or build-over conditions. If needed, we arrange this with your certifier, and any additional costs are discussed upfront.
What access requirements do you need for installation?
We require safe access for:
• Excavators
• Tipper trucks
• Cranes
If access is limited, smaller machinery (such as a skid steer or mini-tipper) or a larger crane may be required. A site visit or photos will confirm what’s needed.
Will my driveway, yard or garden be damaged during installation?
Heavy machinery can cause ground disturbance, lawn damage or minor surface impact (e.g. driveways). We take care to minimise disruption, but restoration of lawns, gardens, and hard surfaces is not included in the standard package.
What is the minimum access width for machinery?
We typically require a minimum of 1.2 metres of clear, straight access for excavation and machinery.
What happens to the excavated soil?
Soil is removed to a local dump site or facility, typically within about 5km of your property. If the nearest suitable site is further away, additional cartage fees will apply. Dump sites change frequently, so the exact location is confirmed closer to your installation date. You can help reduce cartage costs by identifying local tipping options if available.
What happens if you hit rock?
If rock, shale, large boulders, groundwater, or other unexpected conditions are encountered, additional costs may apply. We will pause work, explain the situation, and provide options and pricing estimates before proceeding.
Are there any additional costs I should be aware of?
We are transparent about pricing. Potential extra costs may arise from:
• Unseen ground conditions (rock, tree stumps, groundwater, sewer/stormwater diversions)
• Extra cartage for soil removal
Any variations are discussed with you and approved before we proceed.
Do you organise the crane and excavation?
Yes. For fully installed pools, we handle all excavation, crane hire, delivery logistics, equipment placement, and on-site safety management.
How long does the installation take?
From proposal acceptance to swimming, we recommend allowing around 3 months, which covers:
• Approvals
• Pool production
• Scheduling of trades
• Equipment preparation
The on-site installation phase is typically around 14 days, depending on site conditions and weather.
How long will access to my driveway or yard be restricted?
Typically 3–7 days, depending on excavation, crane placement, and concrete schedules. We’ll confirm the expected timeframe once your installation is booked.
Do I need to be home during installation?
You don’t need to be home for the entire process. We will advise you of key stages where access or your presence is preferred or required.
Can installation proceed in wet weather?
Light rain may not stop work, but heavy rain or unsafe ground conditions can delay excavation, concreting or crane operations. We prioritise safety and quality over speed.
Who is responsible for damaged underground services?
If services are not accurately shown on plans or disclosed to us, any diversions or repairs are at the homeowner’s cost. We work carefully and communicate immediately if we encounter any issues.
Do you need water or power during installation?
Yes. We require:
• Access to a garden tap or water source
• Temporary power (standard outdoor outlet where available)
We’ll let you know if any additional requirements apply.
When can my pool be delivered or installed?
Timeframes depend on your location, chosen pool model, weather conditions, approvals, and our installation schedule. Once we complete your assessment, we’ll confirm the next available installation window.
What disruptions should I expect during installation?
Installation involves:
• Trucks and tippers
• Excavators
• Soil removal
• Cranes
• Concrete trucks and pumps
There will be noise, vibration and temporary access restrictions. We work hard to minimise disruption and maintain a clean, safe site.
Do I need to remove trees, shrubs or structures before installation?
If they obstruct machinery access, the construction area, or crane reach, removal or trimming may be required. We’ll advise what needs to be cleared during your assessment.
Do I need temporary fencing?
Yes. We supply and install temporary pool fencing during construction to meet safety and compliance requirements.
Who organises the electrician?
You engage your own licensed electrician to install:
• 2–4 x 240V/10A power points for pool equipment
• 1 x 240V/15A or 240V/20–32A isolated supply for heaters (if applicable)
• Equipotential bonding (earthing) for metal within 1.25m of the pool’s water line
We provide full electrical specifications for your electrician.
What pool plumbing work is included?
Part 1: We install all plumbing from the pool to the equipment area using 50mm Class 12 pressure-rated pipework, valves and fittings to ensure an efficient system.
Part 2: If we encounter existing services (sewer or stormwater pipes), we engage a licensed plumber to divert or repair them as required. These costs are the customer’s responsibility unless previously quoted or agreed.
Who manages the trades on site?
We coordinate all pool-related trades, including excavation, plumbing, crane operations, concreting and pool technicians. You coordinate your electrician and any optional trades such as fencing or landscaping.
Will delays cost me extra?
Weather delays do not incur extra charges. Delays caused by incomplete access, unprepared sites, or customer-organised trades may result in rescheduling fees.
Do you provide a formal handover?
Yes. After installation, we take you through:
• Equipment operation
• Water chemistry basics
• Maintenance requirements
• Safety and compliance information
You also receive a written handover guide for future reference.
Can you help with fencing and landscaping?
While fencing and landscaping are not included in the standard pool installation package, we can recommend trusted contractors and coordinate timing with your trades if needed.
